Returns, claims, and transport damage

To enable AB PODAB to provide the best possible service, it is important that we are informed immediately of any issues with the delivery.

Delivery discrepancies

In the event of a delivery discrepancy, AB PODAB Customer Service must be contacted as soon as possible.

Delivery discrepancies may include:

  • Missing items

  • Incorrect or damaged goods

Returns

For the return of incorrectly ordered goods, a return fee corresponding to 20% of the purchase price will be charged, as well as any applicable transport costs.

Returns will not be approved if the packaging has been opened, marked, or damaged.

  • Stock items may be returned with full return rights.

  • Incorrect or damaged goods must be reported to Customer Service within 7 days.

  • Returns of special-order items require a separate agreement.

  • Electronics and spare parts with broken packaging cannot be returned.

  • Return shipping is paid by the sender unless otherwise agreed.

  • Credit will be issued after receipt, inspection, and approval of the return.

Packing of returned goods

  • Returned goods must be packed securely in original packaging.

  • Delivery inspection, claims, and transport damage

  • The customer must inspect the delivery upon receipt.

  • Visible transport damage must be noted on the consignment note before signing. AB PODAB cannot compensate for damaged goods if the damage has not been documented on the consignment note at the time of delivery.

  • Concealed transport damage, as well as incorrect, damaged, or missing goods, must be reported to Customer Service within 7 days in order to be processed. Claims must be submitted in writing unless otherwise agreed.

  • Damaged goods must not be used until the claim has been approved.

  • Customer Service will process the claim, and replacement goods will be sent after approval, with the next regular delivery or according to a separate agreement.

  • Transport damage is handled in accordance with the applicable freight agreement. AB PODAB is not responsible for damage that occurs during transport and has not been documented in accordance with established procedures.

Other

Claims apply to defects that existed at the time of delivery. Any warranty matters are handled in accordance with the applicable warranty terms and conditions.

We offer a three-year limited warranty on all our products. During this time, PODAB covers all manufacturing defects, including parts, labor, shipping, and materials.
